At United States Seafoods, teamwork and cooperation are an essential
parts of our management philosophy. We work closely with the North
Pacific Fishery Management Council, other industry groups, NGOs, and coastal communities on a variety of North Pacific fishery management issues. United States Seafoods
is affiliated with the following programs and organizations:
- Community Development Quota (CDQ) Program
- Marine Conservation Alliance,
an affiliation of North Pacific communities, trade associations, and
commercial fishing stakeholders.
- Alaska Groundfish Databank, a Kodiak Island groundfish group.
- North Pacific Rockfish Cooperative.
- United Catcher Boats an association of Bering Sea dependant catcher vessels.
- The Gauvin Environmental Work Group and Best Use Coalition: two groups addressing the issues facing non-AFA catcher processing vessels.
