US Seafoods

About Us

At United States Seafoods we are proud to partner with the Community Development Quota (CDQ) groups. Over the past several years, we have taken a leadership role in the CDQ multi-species program.

The CDQ Program is a unique fishery management system that provides the residents of Alaska’s remote Bering Sea coastal region the opportunity to participate and share in a portion of the multi-species groundfish sector that is conducted directly off of their shores. In 2005, through our CDQ partnerships, we harvested over 75% of the multi-species groundfish CDQ allocations for the entire CDQ program (excluding Pollock and pacific cod). In addition, our partnerships benefit many rural Alaska communities by providing royalties, fisheries jobs, training, and internships.
