In 2012, the United States Seafoods, LLC purchased the former NOAA Pacific Marine Base on Lake Union, in Seattle. The facility includes a 17,000 square foot office building, a 12,000 square foot warehouse building, and over half a mile of available dock face for mooring vessels. The company refers to the facility as "Homeport".
In 2015, the company completed a major remodel of the office building, which is currently divided into three suites. USS is headquartered in one suite, while tenants occupy the other two. One of the tenants, a seafood company, also leases space in the warehouse building and has a fleet of vessels they dock at Homeport when not fishing.
