F/T Ocean Alaska History
The F/T Ocean Alaska was built in 1980 as a scalloper for the East Coast with

participated in the early days of joint ventures off the Alaska and Washington
coasts. In 1991 it was converted to a roe processor. In 1994 it was converted
to a head and gut (H & G) freezer vessel. In 2003 the F/T Ocean Alaska joined
the United States Seafoods fleet.
