F/V Alaska Beauty History
The F/V Alaska Beauty was built in 1972 as a Gulf of Mexico shrimp vessel.
The vessel was later converted at Bender Shipbuilding in Mobile, Alabama for
use in the Alaska fisheries as a catcher vessel. In 2003, the vessel joined our
fleet and was extensively upgraded.
Operations
The vessel operates nine months a year and has a total crew of 5.
It participates in the Gulf of Alaska fisheries out of Kodiak and in the Bering
Sea and Aleutian Islands.
